SYNWATER^® – wind powered seawater desalination

In Southern Europe, in North Africa, in the Middle East and in many other coastal regions in the world, drinking water supplies present a real challenge. This can often be met with seawater desalination only.

As for their good to excellent wind conditions, coastal regions are the optimal place for using wind power for the highly energy-intensive desalination process.

SYNWATER^® – is a modular system for wind powered seawater desalination which can be adapted to all specific site conditions of the relating project in an optimal manner.

SYNWATER^® – modules together with the integrated load & storage management SYNWATER^®LM permit an optimal direct use of the freely accessible and low-cost resource wind as process power.

SYNWATER^® – modules are designed for medium (500 – 5,000 m³/day) and large (more than 5,000 m³/day) plant capacities.
