WATER TREATMENT
SYNWATER® – wind & solar powered desalination
In Southern Europe, in North Africa, in the Middle East and in many other coastal regions in the world, drinking water supplies present a real challenge. This can often be met with seawater desalination only.
Because of the sea-mainland breeze and the intensive solar radiation, arid coastal regions offer good to excellent pre-conditions for both, wind and solar energy utilisation for the highly energy-intensive desalination process. Therefore, wind and/or solar powered reverse osmosis plants offer low and long-term stable costs for water production, worldwide.
SYNWATER® – is a modular system for wind/solar powered seawater desalination which can be adapted to all specific site conditions of the relating project in an optimal manner.
SYNWATER® – modules together with the integrated load & storage management
SYNWATER®LM permit an optimal direct use of the freely accessible and low-cost resource wind/sun as process power.
SYNWATER® – modules are designed for medium (200 – 2,000 m³/day) and large (more than 2,000 m³/day) plant capacities.
